Number One Nutrition Advanced Probiotic Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

For months now, I have been meaning to try a probiotic to help with regularity and digestion. Getting a little real now, I had my gallbladder removed around 4 years ago and have had troubles with these things since then. I did try a different brand of probiotic a few years back that really didn't do anything for me, so that is probably why I was reluctant to try a different one. Still, I am always open at trying a product that will help me be healthier and feel better so I was all over trying Number One Nutrition's Advanced Probiotic.  From the very first day that I began using it, I noticed a difference in both of the areas I was looking to improve and two weeks later, I still find that this product is really helping my body with digestion. I have been trying to lose weight for a long time with really not as much luck as I would like. I would lose two or three pounds here or there and then just gain it back over and over again. Using this product (and also a terrific protein shake I have found at the Vitamin Shoppe) I have lost 6 pounds over the last couple of weeks. I haven't gained and lost it, but have consistently been losing a little at a time. I know a good part of that is thanks to the good bacteria that are in this probiotic. I like that this product is vegetarian and that it comes with a money back guarantee. I definitely always take that as a sign that the company believes in their product.I absolutely plan to buy another bottle when this one is empty and continue down this road of health with the help of a product that I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to aide their digestive health.

Number One Nutrition's Advanced Probiotic can be purchased on Amazon.com.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

B-12 Ultra Review

It is no secret that moms of young children are tired- exhausted even. I have a 4 year old daughter and two year old twin boys. My husband works nights and goes to school during the day, so I am on my own 99% of the time. I get very little sleep because chances are someone will wake up at some point during the night, sometimes even two someones- and always at different times. Keeping up with three little ones, as well as cooking for them and keeping our house clean takes a lot of energy!

I have often heard that B-12 supplements can help get those energy levels up! I was so excited to have the opportunity to try B-12 Ultra Drops from Live Well Market. I like vitamins in liquid form because they are easier to swallow than their pill counterparts, but also because they go directly to your bloodstream enabling them to get in your system more quickly. The B-12 Ultra directions state that you should put 20-30 drops under your tongue and then swallow. I liked that the drops had a pleasant taste, sort of like spearmint. I loved that it came in a glass bottle- a big deal to someone like me who is not a fan of plastic containers because of the BPA. I also thought the blue glass was attractive and makes it easy to find in the cabinet.

I have been taking the drops for about a week now and I have definitely noticed a difference in how I feel. I have been taking 20 drops, but I think I will start taking 30 simply because a few months ago I became a vegetarian, so it is possible that I am a little deficient in this vitamin. However, I noticed a difference with 20 drops and I think that it is better to start out with that amount and go from there. Less is usually more. I will definitely continue to use this vitamin and would absolutely recommend B-12 Ultra to anyone who needs help with energy. Skip the caffeine and get your energy back with a vitamin you actually need!

Check out the great reviews of B-12 Ultra at Live Well Market and while you are there browse the other great supplements they have to offer!

* Disclaimer- I received a complimentary bottle of B-12 Ultra in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Everest Nutrition Krill Oil Review & Giveaway

A few weeks ago, I was provided the opportunity to try Everest Nutrition Krill Oil. I have been meaning to try krill oil for a long time. My husband is a licensed Chiropractor so our family is definitely into taking care of our bodies with proper chiropractic care and high quality supplements. We have been taking  Omega 3 supplements in the form of fish oil for a few years. I will admit I started taking the kids gummy kind because the liquid kind was hard to swallow. Anyway, there has definitely been a shift in the natural health community leaning more toward Krill oil as the best source of Omega 3 in supplement form. I was super excited to receive my Krill oil from Everest Nutrition and couldn’t wait to see how it worked.

Right on the front of the bottle is touts that health benefits include support of joint health, cardiovascular health and relief of pms symptoms. I am a very healthy 30 year old woman, so the first two aren’t that big of a concern for me (yet) I was elated to see that Krill oil might relieve pms symptoms. And boy did it. The first few days of my period and the few days preceding them, I get terrible cramps and bad headaches. I really noticed a difference of these symptoms being lighter while taking the krill oil. I am thinking that continuing on the regimen of Krill oil, maybe it will dissipate the symptoms all together…but only time will tell. I will definitely take a day of mild cramping over the 3-4 days of severe cramping I usually have.  As I mentioned before, I am young and healthy but I do have a major problem with eczema and dry skin, particularly on the face. The biggest improvement I noticed with taking the krill oil is how wonderful my skin looks and feels.  Any time I have taken an omega 3 supplement, I have noticed somewhat of a change in how my skin feels, but the Krill oil has made a huge difference and it did so in just a short amount of time. I look at myself in the mirror and actually feel like I look cute! It’s great to look in the mirror and not see dry patches or red splotches.
This is my makeup free face for you to
see how clear the skin is. Wish I had a
before photo!!

Everest Krill Oil is 100% Pure Krill Oil produced by a patented cold-vacuum extraction of Antarctic Krill. It is in a gel cap form and doesn’t really have a taste at all, which makes it a lot easier to swallow than other Omega 3 supplements on the market. It also contains 48 times more antioxidant activity than other fish oil, according to the bottle it is in.

I definitely plan to continue taking this krill oil. I recommend it for the skin improvements alone, all of the other stuff is just icing on the cake. I love that it is manufactured right here in the USA and that there is a 90 day money back, no questions asked, guarantee. You can’t beat that.

Want a chance to try Everest Nutrition Krill Oil for yourself? Today is your lucky day! I have been provided one bottle of 60 capsules (a 30 day supply) to giveaway to one lucky reader! Enter below via the Rafflecopter!
