Julep Maven Box review and giveaway
To say I am polished obsessed would be a gross understatement, so when I discovered that Julep nail polishes offer a monthly subscription "sneak peak" box, I was BEYOND excited! I took the "What's your Oscar style" quiz at the Julep website and got the result "Classic with a twist." However, I was feeling the "It Girl" box from the February selection of boxes and I knew I wanted to get it! That is the beauty of the Julep Maven Box. There are several to pick from each month and it is easy as a click of the mouse to switch up your selection! Most other subscription boxes only offer one choice, so for me, this makes the Maven Box stand out above the rest!
My first Maven Box showed up just a few short days after I placed my order! It came in a beautiful, classic black box filled with red raffia paper. The polishes were wrapped in bubble wrap and tied with a cute red ribbon with a bow on the top. GORGEOUS presentation and GORGEOUS polish colors! I received Elizabeth, a dark blue with a hint of shimmer. Rachel, a beautiful copper with a hint of shimmer. And the lovely glittery gold Oscar, which would look great on it's own or layered over another polish or as an accent color.
I love Julep polishes because it only takes 2 coats to get great coverage. But even more important than that, Julep products are "3 Free" (free of super bad for you chemicals Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde and Toluene that most nail polishes have in them) I love that I can feel comfortable using these around my kids and even paint my 4 year old daughter's nails worry free!
I am so impressed with the Maven Box program. You pay $20 a month to get over $40 worth of products. What's even cooler is you can even chose to gift your box for the month to a friend! You also have the option to skip a month if need be. You get 20% off at Julep.com and free shipping! Julep's Maven box program makes it super easy to build up your nail polish stash!!
Sign up for Julep's Maven box Use code SHAREONFEB at checkout and get February's box for $1 (That is over $40 worth of product for ONE dollar!!)
