Green Virgin Liquid Soap Nuts Review
I have been using soap nuts for a few years now, but for someone who is not familiar with them, they might be a little intimidating. I was thrilled to hear that there is a liquid version of soap nuts and I was even more excited to give it a try!
If you are unfamiliar with soap nuts, they are the shell of the fruit of sapindus trees. This is the only laundry product you can get that grows on trees! That makes this pretty much the safest thing to use in your washing machine to clean your clothes. You can not get more natural than right off of the tree. The liquid version made by Green Virgin is comprised of the main ingredient sapindus mukurossi soap liquid and caprylyl glycol and phenethyl alcohol as the preservatives. All ingredients rate as a 0 (the best rating) on the Skin Deep Database, so this is a safe product to use for your clothes. It comes with a pump and it says for HE washers that you only need to use two pumps. That is 120 loads in a tiny 8 oz bottle! I have a top loading washer, which requires three pumps of liquid, but that would still last a while! When I first pumped it in, I noticed that it is a brown liquid, which is a little different than the norm, but I have used this laundry soap several times now and the coloring has not effected the outcome of any laundry I have done. There is a distinct smell to the laundry soap, but I have not noticed that it leaves any scent on the clothes. I like to use dryer balls with essential oils infused for scenting my laundry.
I have been impressed with Green Virgin's Liquid Soap Nuts so far. It does a great job getting my clothes super clean and since it is so concentrated, it takes up less space in the laundry room and also lasts longer than some of the big containers you would get at the store that contain all kinds of bad chemicals. Liquid Soap Nuts are great for naturally cleaning your clothes, contributing less to waste (because of the small bottles/long lasting product:) and better for you and your family to be around because the liquid does not contain any chemicals.
Green Virgin has a sample bottle of the liquid soap (that will take care of 6 loads of laundry) for .50 cents if you want to give it a try before you commit. I highly recommend giving it a try!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers."

Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar & Stain Remover Review + Giveaway
Disclosure- I received a complimentary product from the Purex Insiders program in exchange for my honest review. All opinions stated are 100% my own.
I have always been a little on the messy side myself, but I never truly understood how crazy stains can be until I had children. My kids play hard, so sometimes their outfits suffer. Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar & Stain Remover is a great product for pre-treating stains before you throw them in the laundry. My 5 year old daughter is a super frilly little girl and she prefers to spend the majority of her time in dresses and skirts, whether she is indoors reading a book or outdoors playing in dirt. Her most recent stain was on a mint chiffon skirt that she had only had a few weeks. Mint is a very light color so the smudge or mud she managed to get on it was fairly noticeable. The staining occurred about a week before I received my Fels-Naptha bar in the mail, so I had already attempted to treat the stain on two separate occasions, to no avail. When the Fels-Naptha got here, I was excited to give it a try. I wet it slightly and rubbed it on the stain, threw the skirt in the wash and waited to see if it would work it's magic...and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it did! The stain was gone! This is a great pre-wash treatment for stained clothing. You can also grate some of the Fels-Naptha bar into the washing machine for a boost for your load of clothes. I have also seen many recipes online for homemade laundry detergent made with Fels-Naptha (I may have to try my hand at that soon!). This is really a multipurpose bar that no laundry room should be without!

Purex Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets Review And Giveaway
*Disclosure- I received a complimentary box of Purex Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets to try for the purpose of this review. I was not required to render a positive review and all opinions stated are 100% my own.
I haven't used dryer sheets in years and really wanted to give them another try so I was happy to take the chance to review Purex Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets. I am a fan of all things lavender, so I was hoping to receive the sweet lavender sheets and was happy that I did. I could smell them through the box when they arrived on my doorstep! I immediately took them out to add to our laundry for the day (because with a husband who works in the emergency room and three little ones ages 5 and under, there is always plenty of laundry waiting to be done!) and could smell the calming scent of lavender through the several loads that I did. Not only is the scent wonderful, I definitely noticed a difference in the softness of our clothes just after one wash. There was absolutely zero static cling going on, which was a welcome change. I do have skin sensitivities so I am hoping that these are gentle enough for me to continue using...so far so good. I really love having a scent back to my laundry (we usually use Free + Clear everything) and especially that is is 3x's the fragrance of previous Purex sheets. It is the perfect amount of scent to make the clothes smell wonderful, but not be overbearing. Purex Fabric Softener Sheets are also available in Mountain Breeze.
Learn more about Purex Fabric Softener Sheets and other Purex products on the Purex Facebook page.
I have 3 product coupons for a free Purex Fabric Softener Sheets to share with three lucky readers! Enter via the Rafflecopter form below for your chance to win!

Purex Crystals for Baby Review + Giveaway
Not too long ago, I wrote how very impressed our family was with Purex's new liquid baby detergent. It smells so baby fresh and is gentle on all of our sensitive skin. We had previously been using Free & Clear laundry detergent because pretty much everything else makes me break out. Purex has another really cool baby and sensitive skin friendly product out, this time in the form of laundry crystals. I thought the Purex Baby Detergent smelled great, it doesn't even hold a candle to the Purex laundry crystals for baby. The scent is so strong (in a good way) I was just sniffing my little ones shirts all day the first time I used it. And just like the detergent, it is great for sensitive skin and mild enough for even our itty bittiest family members. What I really love about these crystals is that they are dye free and hypoallergenic, two very big must haves for anyone with very sensitive skin.
If you are unfamiliar with laundry crystals, you use them in addition to your regular detergent, so you could use them with Purex baby detergent for a really nice, strong scent or you could use them with a free and clear detergent and still get a wonderful amount of long lasting fresh baby scent on your clothes. It is so nice to have great smelling laundry. I definitely recommend this product to new parents or people like me with sensitive skin. It smells wonderful, works great and doesn't irritate sensitive skin!
Look for Purex Crystals for baby at your local Walmart beginning in early February.
Enter below via the Rafflecopter for your chance to win a bottle of Purex Crystals for Baby. There will be THREE winners! Good luck!

Purex Baby Detergent Review + Giveaway
Everyone in our household has sensitive skin. Mine is the absolute worst. I am always so sad that I can't use nice smelling laundry detergent because it all makes me break out. I have never thought of trying a hypoallergenic detergent meant for babies, until I was offered this Purex Baby opportunity through being a Purex Insider. We normally use free and clear, but I was definitely willing to give it a try.
Right away, I noticed the nice smell. It is great to have a nice smell on our clothes again. We have been using this detergent for a little over a week and I have not broken out. That is no surprise to me though, since Purex Baby is Dermatologist tested and formulated to be extra gentle on even the most sensitive of skin. We don't have any little babies in our house anymore, but I will probably continue to use this liquid detergent since it works well, smells great and doesn't irritate any of our skin. I think this would make a fabulous edition to a baby shower gift and that new moms will fall in love with this great detergent. I would also highly recommend it to anyone who has sensitive skin, who still wants a detergent that has a nice scent to it.
Purex has a fun promotion going on. It's called "Oh, Baby" and 3 lucky grand prize winners will receive $500 each! 250 additional people will also win free bottles of Purex Baby! Enter the "Oh, Baby Sweepstakes here for your chance to win one of these great prizes!!
As you can see above, I also have 3 free coupons for a bottle of Purex Baby Detergent to give away! Enter below via the Rafflecopter for your chance to win!

Purex Giveaway- Win 3 bottles of Triple Action Detergent
Purex has a clever new ad campaign going on called "Let's Be Honest." It is a series of video ads that are around 20 seconds each and each one starts with the phrase "Let's Be Honest." My favorite goes something like this- "We have a rule around here, anything you leave in your pockets after you put your clothes in the hamper automatically goes in the vacation fund...oooh, jackpot (as she finds a large bill, she slips it in her pocket.)
These are cute little videos! Enter via the rafflecopter below for your chance to win 3 free bottles of Purex! (That's a lot of laundry detergent!)
You can also enter to win a year's supply of Purex!! a Rafflecopter giveaway
*Disclaimer- I am a Purex Insider. I was given 3 coupons for free products to give away to my readers in exchange for a blog post about the "Let's Be Honest" campaign. All opinions stated are 100% my own.
